Aquamarines, white diamonds (but make them Bibi), and possibly the most luxe facial you’ll ever try
A bumper edit of aquamarine jewellery for March, The Bug by Kinraden flies onto our lapels, Bibi van der Velden launches The Diamond Collection and Suzanne Kalan gets into beauty.
The Aquamarine Edit
The pave opal teardrop and aquamarine crystal necklace, by Jacquie Aiche
Harnessing the calming and cleansing energies of the clear blue stone, a limpid aquamarine crystal is suspended on a diamond chain, finished with a vibrant opal teardrop.
The Monaco ring, by Seal & Scribe
Inspired by the refinement and glamour of the Mediterranean city state, this beautiful aquamarine cabochon ring has a secret. Nestled inside the under gallery, is an antique intaglio cast in white gold, bearing the motto ‘Deeds not words’.
The Aquamarine faceted ring, by Melanie Eddy
The gentle tones of an aquamarine accentuate the angles of the London-based jeweller’s signature geometry, in a piece that conveys quiet strength. Melanie is currently the subject of a retrospective on her home island of Bermuda, Meditations on Form, at Bermuda National Gallery, until May 2025.
The Elizabeth Stone earrings, by Heather B Moore
Slim slices of aquamarine are captured in 14kt gold bezels, to create one-of-a-kind chandelier earrings that honour the March birthstone.
The Lalique antique brooch, Faerber Collection
This early 20th century brooch from the Faerber Collection is a magnificent example of Lalique’s work, as an aquamarine drop trembles on a meticulously hand enamelled floral framework.
The Danza della Merene bracelet, by Massimo Izzo
The Sicillian jeweller is never stronger than when he’s inspired by the sea. This striking bracelet marries vibrant chunks of aquamarine with the dazzling red of natural coral, as pavé seas creatures twirls amongst golden fronds.
Kinraden’s Sarah Emilie Müllertz teams up with Danish artist Charlotte Søeborg Ohlesen on The Bug

The minimalist Danish jewellery house Kinraden, has released a limited edition brooch, created with the Danish artist Charlotte Søeborg Ohlesen. The Bug is an articulated insect made in recycled silver, in a limited edition of 11 pieces available exclusively at the Kinraden boutique in Copenhagen.
Søeborg Ohlsen usually works mainly in paper, creating a delicate, poetic world which complements Müllertz’s own focus on form for Kinraden. This time, the imaginary segmented and winged creature has been transposed into gleaming silver with a healthy dose of Müllertz’s characteristic restrained elegance.
Kinraden will be showing in Paris with NouvelleBox, March 6th-10th. info@kinraden.com for enquiries about The Bug.
Collection of the Month: The Diamond Collection by Bibi van der Velden
To kick off the celebrations for her 20th year in business, Bibi van der Velden has released her first all-diamond collection; and it revisits her signature motif: the alligator, as a symbol of female strength and empowerment.
“The Diamond Collection is a testament to evolution – both in the design and in my journey as a creator,” says van der Velden, who has transformed the classic and timeless stone into something altogether more creative and sculptural. Diamonds have always been present in her work as accents to more unusual materials like fossilised mammoth bone, beetles wings and pearls, but this is the first time they have taken centre-stage. Sinewy diamond tails curl around the body in glittering style, to create wearable art that contrasts the primal beauty of the reptile with the icy bite of diamonds.
Stay tuned for more on Bibi van der Velden’s 20th anniversary celebrations, later in the year.
Mellerio has it in the bag
From France’s oldest jeweller, comes a contemporary form of adornment, as Mellerio adds more bag charms to its Cabinet de Curiosités line.
The house famously looks to centuries of archive materials for inspiration, revisiting motifs to create highly covetable jewellery that feels From solid gold metals and delicate pampille cabochon chandeliers, to coloured gemstone stars and pearl filigree crosses, the jewels are designed to be layered onto one of the Maison’s gold and pearl liens which double up as charm bracelets and necklaces in the chicest of ways.
Suzanne Kalan just made the spa at the Dorchester even more luxe
For anyone who feels like winter is dragging on, the Dorchester Hotel has a treat in store this month. In the hotel spa, Natura Bissé has come together with jewellery designer Suzanne Kalan, to create a brand new treatment designed to harness the power of diamonds.
The Diamond Acu-Energy Facial x Suzanne Kalan celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Diamond Collection, in a luxury treatment created combining auriculotherapy and facial gem therapy. Queen of the Baguette Diamonds which are at the centre of her signature Fireworks collection, Suzanne Kalan worked with the beauty brand to design the facial, with the intention of “giving women a moment to escape from reality, to ground and relax, and take a minute for themselves in their busy lives.”
And that sounds like the last word in luxury to us.
The Diamond Acu-Energy Facial X Suzanne Kalan by Natura Bissé is available until March 31, 2025 at The Dorchester Spa at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, London, as well as at 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park, Ascot.
